Presented by Thomas Ray Garcia, Founder of the College Scholarship Leadership Program, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26. 

Parents and students will gain essential insights and practical strategies to confidently navigate the college admissions process and plan for your child’s future success.

STISD will open enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026. 

Enrollment forms must be completed online at www.stisd.net. STISD is a tuition-free, open-enrollment public school district, and students residing in Cameron, Hidalgo or Willacy counties are eligible to enroll.

STISD offers families an innovative educational option through seven magnet schools across the Rio Grande Valley: two middle schools, four high schools, and one virtual campus serving both middle and high school students.

The STISD High School Selection process for current STISD 8th-graders and the In-District Transfer process for current STISD 6th-,7th- and 9th-graders wanting to transfer to another campus within STISD for the 2026-2027 school year are now open via Skyward Family Access and will remain open through Thursday, Jan. 22.
