Alma Rodriguez, salutatorian at STISD Medical Professions in Olmito, was recently awarded the UTRGV Luminary Scholarship, the university's newest and top award, valued at up to $137,000.

40 students will represent STISD at the HOSA- Future Health Professionals International Leadership Conference, June 22-25 in Nashville, Tennessee.

A five-member team from STISD Science Academy won the 2022 Texas Envirothon state championship held April 8-12. The team will travel to Oxford, Ohio, to compete against teams from the states and Canadian provinces for scholarships at the NCF-Envirothon

South Texas ISD is hosting a district wide Job Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, at the South Texas ISD Science Academy Gym (1LT Andres Zermeño Memorial Gymnasium) in Mercedes. Attendees can see what life is like at STISD, meet administrators, and apply onsite.
